Sugar and Spice Baby Shower

I was thrilled for my sister-in-law when I found out she was pregnant.  She and her husband had been trying to start a family for a few years and when they told me they were expecting (on my birthday no less, what a great present!!!), I couldn't wait to plan her shower!

I knew I wanted a candy buffet.  Seriously - they are so fun and yummy too!

I made tiered dessert trays for each table.  They were super easy!  Just cardboard cake plates with cardstock on top and ribbon around the edges.  I used cans of veggies wrapped in cardstock to go in between each layer.

Loved my banners too!

Gender Reveal

Preparing for our 2nd child, I KNEW I wanted to have a gender reveal party.  It seemed to sneak up on me though, so I didn't get to do as much as I wanted.  Then the night of the reveal, I was so excited to tell everyone, I didn't get a ton of pictures.  It was still a blast though.

Logan had fun coloring in the "HE" and "SHE" in HERSHEYS.  He didn't stay in the lines, but I had to give up control and just let him roll with it!

Guests had to take a stand and decide BEFORE we cut the cake what they thought we were having.

IT'S A BOY!!!!
